What we provide....

Information Service and Info – line
Halton MIND Info – Service exists to serve the information
needs of anyone affected by mental distress. Halton MIND’s
information service provides a range of information on local services,
medication, treatments, complimentary therapies, your rights and
much more and if we have not got the information, we will do our
best to find it for you.
Day Services
MIND Halton provides day services for people who have had or are
experiencing a mental health problem and are living in the Halton
area.
We aim to provide a safe, friendly environment where an individual
can be open about their moods and feelings and that within a relaxed
and supported environment people have every opportunity to can involve
themselves in a range of activities and develop at their own pace.
Many of the activities and sessions at MIND Halton take place within
the Day Centres’. However, MIND Halton use a number of local
community resources e.g. The Acorn Life Long Learning Centre, Halton
College, Kingsway Leisure Centre, Halton Voluntary Action and Haddocks
Wood Allotments.
We are always looking to meet the needs of our service users consequently
groups and activities may change and new sessions developed, to
incorporate new ideas and needs.
We make no charge for our day services, the only exception is for
trips out, such as to the theatre or a concert, although we will
always endeavour to obtain a discount
If you have any comments or complaints about our
service please let me know.

Volunteers at MIND
Mind Halton could benefit from your support; we are always looking
for volunteers who can support the organisation.
Even if you can only offer a few hours per week with your skills
and enthusiasm you could enhance the work that MIND Halton does.
